Hey party people. I feel like I have been going through blog withdrawal over the past month and a half. Last week I finally finished up my real estate class and passed the class test. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Friday we headed to Charleston to celebrate our favorite friends, Caitlin and Whitey. Caitlin is a wedding planner and works for THE Calder Clark. I wish I would have taken more pictures, because everything was out of this world.
I am so excited to finally have some time to blog, tackle some house projects and catch up on all my favorite blogs!
This image from Anna Spiro's Brisbane apartment circa 2009 is one of my all time favorites.
I am always on the hunt for original art. Finding perfect pieces I can afford, is proving to be quite time consuming.
In the meantime, I am in the market for a good nude sketch.
Art.com has a Henri Matisse print that could do the trick AND it is only $12.99.
I am so excited to introduce one of my new favorite sources for jewelry! I am always on the hunt for vintage pieces to add to my jewelry collection. There is something so special about having a piece that is "one of a kind". 2nd Debut is a collection of vintage and estate pieces carefully curated by Emily Cutts. She releases the collections are she gets them and they go fast!
Emily was sweet enough to offer up these ADORABLE gold and lucite spider broaches.
Our den needs a serious makeover. It currently consists of a hodge podge of hand me down furniture we had when we moved in. I got lucky and scored a tortoise coffee table and I feel like I owe the room a little more attention.
I am on the look out for a vintage rug.
I am always checking Ebay, eSale Rugs and estate sales. What are some of your favorite sources for vintage rugs?
