I cannot stop...

talking about weddings. They are taking over my life. I am so giddy today because of the royal wedding. I am completely obsessed with anything Kate Middleton. I mean, what girl does not want to be her right now? She is so down to earth. She did her own make up!

Then there is Pippa...kind of obsessed with her too.


The dress is everything I expected it to be. Simple, classic, conservative. I am a sucker for a conservative wedding dress. The more grandma the better. I love turtlenecks, long sleeves, and lace.

The other Royal wedding is taking place in exactly 3 weeks. I am going to imagine I am Kate and keep it cool and collected even though inside I am freaking out.  Before I can even upload the pictures from last weekends shower I am heading home for another one this weekend. Peace out.

So we have been having this conversation for about 3 months now. I still do not have a rehearsal dinner dress and the wedding is a month away. This dress is the reason I have problems. I see something like this and then nothing else compares.

I cannot say enough about this product. It is the perfect bronzer. Natural, no streaking, and oil free. It lasts forever. I have had a bottle for years.  Only down side-- Doug hates it when I leave it out because he is afraid someone will think it is his. 

NARS Lipstick in Funny Face

I rarely wear lipstick. Sometimes I even put it on and wipe it off when I am running out the door because I feel silly.  When I do I wear Funny Face. It was the go to shade for J Crew last fall.

After an amazing weekend I am finally back in business...

We experienced Miami to the fullest. While I was there we had a blast. We somehow managed to talk a sweet old man into buying us a table with bottle service at LIV at Fontainebleau.

We enjoyed drinks on our own "private rooftop".

My friends were A holes and made me wear dumb ish like buttons and redneck hats.

I found a chandelier for my dining room.

We at at the most AMAZING Greek restaurant in the WORLD. I would fly back to South Beach just to eat at  Taverna Opa again.

Now we are all back to reality. My reality consists of addressing wedding invitations that were suppose to go out a week ago and sitting in a cubicle. The aftermath that was Miami has also left me with sun burnt lips. I was suppose to have a bridal portrait today but instead I am icing my lips so I can look like Jessie instead of Taylor from the RHOBH. OPA!  

I am a picture theif. I stole pictures from Mason and  Lindsay.

Chair Paparazzi

Earlier this week  I got an email titled " Chair Paparazzi" from Summer (also known as Reed to the blog world).  Inside the email was a really sexy chair that was in the new issue of Lonny. I hate to say I told you so, but "I told you so". (directed towards Doug and his hate towards our current dining room chairs.)

My favorite chairs found on Craigslist for $25. Please forgive Doug for all of the mean things he says to you.

I have physically restrained myself from going to Furbish Studio for months now. I made an agreement with myself that I would avoid my weakness until after the wedding due to the fact that,  weddings are expensive and I am poor. To make myself feel better I went virtual shopping yesterday. Just consider this my wedding registry.
