Tartan and Sequins has me blushing today. They chose me as their "Girl Crush" of the week. It is kind of a big deal because these ladies have some amazing taste. You should probably go, check it out and follow their blog.

Around the house...
Due to a hectic schedule, I am still working on finishing my dining room. I started the initial planning in January. For some reason, I just cannot get my ish together. Maybe it is because before I can finish one project, I start another one. I have been itching to find a way to get this rug into my house. It finally came to me in the shape of a pagoda mirror. My current entry way was the very first thing I did when we first moved in. Since that time, I feel like my taste has changed so much. I figured if I put a skirt over my table, I already have the mirror, lamps and ginger jars. I can give my entry way a huge facelift with just a rug. Rationalization. More for me than you...
Is anyone else a crazy person and change their mind all of the time?

Guest Post: gratefully inspired
I have been majorly dropping the blogging ball lately. Lots of late guest posts, sporadic blogging and pretty boring junk posts. I forgot to mention that wrote a guest post for my friend Denise at gratefully inspired yesterday. Denise's blog is adorable, just like her. She is an amazing writer and look forward to her posts every day. I am over there handing out marriage advice, which is comical. I think I should stick to wallpaper and maxi skirts. In other news, I cannot upload pictures on my blog. WTF?

Booth Custom Opening- Five Points
I am so excited to share some pictures from the Booth Custom Opening Party. Booth Custom is a husband and wife team, who focus on engagement rings and heirloom restoration. They recently opened up a store in Five Points. I have had the pleasure of working with Brian and Lily for the past couple of months. They trusted me enough to let me decorate the entire store.
Brian and Lily made my engagement ring, wedding band and anniversary band. They are so talented. Ladies, if you are thinking about getting engaged you need drop some hints to the fiancé.

Blind People Problems
Warby Parker makes my visually challenged life a little better. If your vision is 20/200 you can probably relate. I waited like 2 years to get new glasses because I am cheap. Finally, I broke down ordered these a couple of months ago. Never paying over $100 for glasses ever again.

Kitchen Renovation: Before & After
Our kitchen is FINALLY done. Honestly, it was not as bad as I expected. We started the renovation in early March. The kitchen was not functional for about 6 weeks. I have been holding off showing y'all because I was waiting on our hardware and lighting to come in, both were on back order. Story of my life. I feel like I have built up this huge, dramatic reveal and it is pretty basic. I could not be any happier. Who does not love a good before and after?
