Our den needs a serious makeover. It currently consists of a hodge podge of hand me down furniture we had when we moved in. I got lucky and scored a tortoise coffee table and I feel like I owe the room a little more attention.
I am on the look out for a vintage rug.
I am always checking Ebay, eSale Rugs and estate sales. What are some of your favorite sources for vintage rugs?
I check the same sources you do for rugs and really struggle finding anything I LOVE. If you find any great sources, let me know :)
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how obsessed I am with your table. It is AMAZING! Do you ever Craigslist for rugs? Ultra hit or miss, but...
ReplyDeleteI've been watching this eye candy from Ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/261162223781?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2648 It's too small for your den, I'm sure, but it would be perfect for my office! Keep checking those sources. I find some good ones every now and then.

Love this! I also check esale rugs, but there's a fabulous etsy store, I'll do my best to send you the link before Sunday ;) (got to dig deep!)
ReplyDeleteI'm on the hunt as well! Need one with red/pink tones and hopefully black!
ReplyDeleteI always look on Ebay. Also, it's worth a trip to Darlington, SC (right outside of Florence) to go to Scarlett's. They have a HUGE selection and great prices.
ReplyDeleteI love the mood board. I know it's highly unlikely... but if you ever, ever, ever decide to sell that table ---I'm your girl! : )
ReplyDeleteawesome table! good luck with the rug search. rugsusa.com has some great sales every now and then, but they aren't vintage... but worth checking out!

I haven't found a great source either, I use the same one as you! I do know that ESale rugs is opening a showroom in Charlotte!! Whoop Whoop! I will let you know if I find any other great sources!
ReplyDeleteLoving it! That rug is killer!!
ReplyDeleteThere's this hole-in-the-wall place here that sells the BEST rugs. They're all so unique, but the store location is very random. It's in a town of 2,500, an hour away from a "big" city (30,000), and HOURS away from any metropolitan.
ReplyDeleteWe've bought all six of our antique/vintage rugs at Fletcher's Finds in Yemassee, SC. It's a hole in the wall. Here's their site: http://www.fletchersfinds.com/
ReplyDeleteThe last few pics in this post show the one in our bedroom:

Good luck!
Those are my sources as well. Every time I see your coffee table I get wildly jealous. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHave a check on Ebay. I think they offer the best estate sales.
