Friday Favorites

Our bathroom faucet came in this week. It is way better looking in person.
I am so obsessed with polished nickel right now.

Hyla showed off some of her Spring Collection on Instagram (@hdjewelry).
I need this in my life.
I am on an Irene Neuwirth kick. She is so insanely chic. Her Instagram feed is my favorite @ireneneuwirth. I love getting peeks into her home. Her Mom is an artist and I would die to own one of her pieces. Insane, right?

This maxi from Annie Griffin's spring collection in calling my name.

I am really loving this white faux leather jacket to wear into spring.
Luckily, the price is just right.

*DO NOT FORGET*
The Lift Benefit is tomorrow night. Is anyone else going? I am really looking forward to seeing friends and supporting a GREAT cause.

Hall Bath Makeover Progress

Last week we started our bathroom makeover . We ended up refinishing the tile and tub. I am going to save that for another post. I have lots of thoughts on this and want to show you pictures.

This weekend I started painting cabinets.  We ended up going with the top left, Benjamin Moore Dior Gray. My second favorite was the bottom left, Benjamin Moore Overcoat.
Doug and I have not had any painting projects in a while. I seriously forgot what a pain in the ass it is to paint. And sand. And paint. We still have a full night ahead of us tonight. Anyone who wants to help, I will pay you in wine.

There was a brief discussion about getting a custom shower curtain made. If Madame Farfalla was not $115 a yard the discussion might have been longer. I have searched high and low for good looking shower curtains. Any suggestions?
Thanks to my day job, I am becoming an expert when it comes to faucets. One thing you may not realize is that a good looking faucet can cost a small fortune.  I fell in love with this faucet from Waterworks, basically because I love hot and cold markings on white porcelain. I finally ran across something similar at Wayfair for half the price.

Can someone please design some decent overhead vanity lighting? Scones get all the love. Of course, sconces will not fit in our bathrooms. Pinterest dreams are being crushed. This light was my favorite of the bunch.

I am on a huge polished nickel kick. I wanted something simple and pretty. While I will always love brass, I do think you can over do it.

On My Radar | Home Bits

Basil Flush Mount | I am obsessing over this Visual Comfort beauty.
Botanical Prints | Love a good black botanical. It will last for years to come.
Primmy Sofa | Blue ticking stripes and skirted sofas are my thing.
Side Table | A Target steal!

Extras
Spotted Matches | Currently on pre-order. You better scoop them while you can. I have a feeling they are not going to be around long.
Ceramic Dogs | You can never have too many weird animals.Only $30.
Leopard Tray | This is probably the best leopard tray I have ever seen. It is pricey, but totally worth the splurge.

Design Crush: Lindsey Coral Harper

Did yall see the feature of Lindsey Coral Harper's malachite collection in Elle Decor last week? It left me wanting more. Even if you are not a malachite or zebra fan, you can respect the fact that she does not take herself too seriously. Decorating should be fun, not boring. We can all do beige when we get older.

Things at Target I do not hate...

I have a love hate relationship with Target. I have never had much luck finding anything in the home department. I tend to walk in and drop $100 on shampoo, sports bras and over priced cleaning supplies. I went in this weekend to buy some space boots. My friend Rachel had them and looked very Isabel Marantish. I stopped in the home section and was pleasantly surprised.

Pretty Pastels

I am loving these pastel transition pieces for now and later. Rebecca Taylor is my go to for feminine classics. They are currently offering an extra 25% off sale with the code RTWINTERSALE. Hurry, offer ends tonight!

Around our House

Trader Joe's had the most beautiful blooms this weekend.
My Mom gave me these gorgeous Drexel Heritage lamps for Christmas. It is really hard to believe they are from TJ Maxx. They look even better in person. Keep your eyes peeled.

My Sally King Benedict face moves all around our house. It is currently greeting guests in the entry.

This week I finally made my new years resolution...

I would like to be able to drop it like it is hot and then be able to get back up.

Life On The Farm

After the holidays I prefer to stay locked in my house and pin ideas for warmer days.  My latest Pinterest obsession is a farm house. Doug and I both have a little country mouse in us. Just call me Laura Ingalls Wilder. I do not want to deal with people or shoes. I just want to cut my flowers and read.
