I have been messing with different ideas for my bedroom. I am going to keep my bed, lamps, campaign desk and ghost chair. I keep going back to a red and navy color scheme. I really would love a neutral bedroom. No matter how hard I try, I am not a beige girl. In my next adult house, I have a feeling I will tone things down but right now I just want to have fun with patterns and colors.
Are you a sophisticated beige girl or do you gravitate towards color?
The older you get the harder it becomes to get all of your friends together. I am a huge fan of my birthday because it forces all of my friends to hang out with me. To me, there is nothing better than getting everyone I love in one room. This weekend is full of birthday celebrations and holiday parties. Best birthday present ever!
I have been going through some old pictures looking for a Christmas card photo. It makes me miss my DSLR. One of the main reasons I started blogging was because I loved photography. I had a camera glued to my face and needed somewhere to put my pictures.
I could probably count on one hand the number of times I have picked up my camera this year and honestly, it makes me sad. I am going to make a goal to put down the Instagram and pick up my camera more often.
LASH Clothing is a new online boutique, started by Ashley Dodd and Lauren Priest. They both worked together at a local boutique while attending East Carolina University. They discovered they had a serious passion for fashion and decided that no time was better than the present to start a boutique of their own. They carry some of my favorite brands like Amanda Uprichard, Hyla Dewitt, Nation LTD, Love Quotes, and Rory Beca. The website offers a personal stylist feature. No clue what to wear to your holiday party? Ask the stylist.
LASH has been nice enough offer a $100 Gift Certificate (JUST IN TIME FOR HOLIDAY PARTIES)
Friday night I was introduced to a new website The Scout Guide. I got a glimpse at the new guide for Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill and was blown away. Obviously, being a blogger I am overly enthusiastic about design and photography. The editor and local Raleigh photographer, Nick Pironoio, knocked it out of the park. The guide features small businesses in Raleigh. It was great to see some of the local businesses I frequent featured, and even better to be introduced to some new places.
