SheInside- What's the deal?

I am a big believer if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
Have yall heard of SheInside? Chances are you have at least seen this sweater all over Pinterest.

My question is have any of you actually ordered from the site?
It seems a little sketch.  The clothes are adorable and the prices are very reasonable.  The reviews are super mixed. Reminds me a lot of the J Crew/Ebay bubble necklace craze this summer.

  1. I ended up on this site awhile back per another super cute all over Pinterest something and I felt the same way! I can't wait to hear what the reviews are, because if they're good then I want to get on this place but if not...I'm glad I'm of the if it's too good to be true camp too!

    4. DO NOT ORDER FROM SHEINSIDE!! I bought a couple of dresses and I want to return them and they keep emailing about exchanging the dresses for other items. I don't want anything else, and I especially don't want anything from them since they are making it so difficult to return anything. I even checked before placing an order online from a place I hadn't heard much about, and it says 100% Money Back Guarantee. Well that's a lie. The only form of communication I can find is email and I've been trying to return the items for over a week now. I am beyond frustrated now. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

    5. I just bought a dress in the beginning of August and I haven't received it yet. I've been checking my email every day to see if there is confirmation that it shipped and nothing. I finally checked my sheinside account today and saw that the dress was sold out!! They already charged my account when I first ordered the dress! I tried contacting them by their online chat which is crap! I also emailed them, no answer. Finally I called them and actually reached someone. I admit it was very hard to communicate but somehow she said they would refund my money but at first she wanted me to exchange it for something else. Who knows if I'll actually get refunded! Worst place ever, never shop there!!!

    6. I agree with the other reviews. The clothes are cheap and tacky. Returning has been a nightmare. I finally got the address to return the clothes but I will be surprised if I actually get a refund.

    7. What was the address? I'm trying to get it myself and am having a very hard time :(

    8. I've had a frustrating time trying to return my items too, which were cheaply made and reeked of gasoline and rubber. Could you post the return address?

  2. I bought 2 tops from there this summer. They were as pictured and really cute. But had NO TAGS. Like brand tags which I thought was really sketch. I still wear them though lol.

  3. I actually "like" them on fb and they post ridiculously cute things all the time...but i haven't been brave enough yet. Love that jacket!

  4. I'm very curious as well!!! I have seen their stuff on a TON of fashion bloggers and casually emailed them asking for more info on their blogger collaboration program to get a VERY degrading email back saying "sorry sweetie...contact us when you have over 1,000 followers". Anybody who knows blogs knows that viewership/followers on GFC don't always correspond. So I thought that was strange/semi-rude.

Also I googled "SheInside scam" and saw a TON of horrible reviews about products not being recieved, no customer service, etc. Very interested to hear other bloggers experiences with the company.

    1. I'm a blogger and I have actually worked with them few times. They've sent me a few pieces and I've hosted some giveaways for them. I have a decent following but I don't technically qualify for their program (the over 1,000 followers on blogger program) but they reached out to me for whatever reason so I figured it couldn't hurt. Working with them has been odd. Every email I get is really unprofessional and begins with "hello dear." But they've been nice enough. I got an email recently saying they discontinued their blogger program where they send free things and now they're doing an affiliate program. So, that's my experience, from a blogger's perspective.

The clothes were OKAY. Ill-fitting, in my opinion. But cute. I think you get what you pay for.

  5. I ordered a mint colored blouse from there this summer (was on Pinterest) and love it, but it had no tags on it either...

  6. I bought a dress and a top from them over the summer. I think it shipped from China because it took a long time to show up. No customer service. Anyway, they arrived as expected but I didn't really like the way they fit. But I think return shipping to China was almost as expensive as the clothes, so I ended up just keeping them.

It was sort of like Forever 21 quality, so kind of hit or miss. I'd only order if you really, really, really love something and it won't hurt your wallet if it ends up sucking. It's kind of a gamble.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'm so glad you posted this because I've been wondering the exact same thing. It seems kind of sketch but they do appear to have some super cute things for insane prices...Sounds like a gamble but maybe it's worth it! XoXo

  8. Was just wondering the same thing, I have loved all their stuff I've seen on Pinterest but saw this when I searched the other day:
"Made a purchase for $80 and received all items wrong size.Send them back explaining the reason and asked for an exchange. well this company never contacted me and never send any confirmation that they received my stuff and of course I never receieved any other postage from them.
Beware and don't buy from them

  9. I have bought one dress from them. It took almost a month but with free shipping, I did not mind and I have bought things from Hong Kong that also take the same amount of time. I wrote to them asking when it would arrive but no one responded. However I was relieved when the dress arrived, the quality was good for the price I paid. I would say it is the same as a H&M quality. The dress fit me well. I don't know what the process would have been like if I had to return it. I don't know what some of the ladies mean when they say there are no tags on it - this is very common for most clothing that come out of Asia. Are you referring to washing instructions? One helpful tip - if you pin something on their website or share it on some sort of social media - you get 10 points per item you share. Accumulate enough and you can purchase something for free. that would be the most risk free way to try out some of their products.

  11. They are AWFUL! Stay away! They are based in China, there are no returns. They tell you on the site you can return items... but ...... you have to pay shipping back to China which is $30-40. I ordered a denim shirt, it was too tight and needed a larger size which they were out of stock on. Said I could return and pay shipping which was more than the shirt was worth or I could buy something else at %40 off. Sent me a coupon code. I replied that their customer service stunk, and then they said... thank you for understanding here's a coupon for %15 off! LOL Hello! You just sent me a code for %40, why would I use a %15 off code..... and why in God's name would I ever purchase from you again? Extremely frustrating, not worth it! Sheinside ...... good luck if you buy from them!

  12. I had heard SheInside before, the price of their clothing is pretty average. I also bought a cute sweater and a simple blouse from this site. The package arrived after 15 days, which was a little longer than I expected. However the sweater was lovely and material was soft, so it made up for this slight delay. I know it can be difficult sometimes ordering from a company that you've never had experience with before. But i very lucky. Love my shipping.

  13. ^ this girl Endee Lisa has posted similar, grammatically incorrect posts on every negative review I have found online. Obviously a bot from their company! I wish people on Pinterest would realize that this company is a rip-off.

    ReplyDelete
  14. SheInside is basically sweat-shop clothing. That's why items are low-priced, low quality, have no tags and ship from China. If you don't mind supporting abusive labor practices in the name of fashion, go for it. They make knock offs of popular JCrew, Zara, ModCloth and ASOS clothing with cheaper materials. Usually the images shown aren't even the actual product. I've read scam reports of people's credit card information being stolen, having refunds rejected by the company, incorrect orders, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Don't order. Big time rip off!

  16. I seen a of these nagative reviews about SheInside, and I don't doubt that there are people who have had bad experiences, that doesn't have to mean the company is bad. I have bought clothes from there, and have always been pleased. No fuzz, no trouble. No, the quality for my last jacket from there isn't the same as one from Ralph Lauren but you get what you pay for!! As for sweatshop alligations, where is the proof of that? Pretty condesending to just asume that any store operating out of China has to be a sweat shop. And, to be honest, the prices arn't that much different then the ones on F21!! Who gets their clothes from Taiwan btw...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Maybe there are indeed some problems existing in Sheinside, but i think you can call their customer service for solving those problems. i have quite often visited their site. Personally, i prefer their clothing for their products themselves with no problem. They are pretty good.

  18. BEWARE. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! I BOUGHT WHAT I SAW ON THE WEBSITE AS A BEAUTIFUL NAVY DRESS (PINTEREST) AND WHEN I RECEIVED IT, NO TAGS, NO INVOICE, NO RETURN LABEL, AND THE DRESS WAS SO CHEAP LOOKING!!! IT COMES FROM CHINA AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIVE IN RETURNING CLOTHING! TOLD ME IF IT'S QUALITY THEY WILL ONLY EXCHANGE NOT RETURN, BUT I POINTED OUT ON THE RETURN POLICY, IT SAYS EXCHANGE AND RETURN IF NOT SATISFIED. I HAVE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM FOR A WEEK NOW. I THINK THEY'RE WAITING FOR ME TO GIVE UP OR THE 30 DAYS TO BE UP!
NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!!!

    4. I'm going through the same thing! I started getting suspicious when you had to email their service team to receive the return address to ship unwanted/terrible products back to them. They keep writing me back with grammatically incorrect responses that are useless and have now transpired over 2 days. Online chat is a complete bust and their messages are useless and slow (usually takes a day to receive a reply thats meaningless). I feel that their comments and reviews on the website are fabricated and fake. It's unfortunate. I lost 56$ on a crappy coat that I thought would be adorable and warm. It's too small, has false pockets, and not warm at all. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

    5. I too am having the same problems my daughter ordered $50 worth of stuff none of which fits and they will not do a return only an exchange which is going to cost me a small fortune in postage and as many of their items are one size only everything else in their store is going to be too big for her too.
      I'm so angry.

  19. I have been tempted to order from them and have heard a lot of the same mixed reviews, much like the comments in your blog post here. All of the good reviews i'd say that only 5-10 percent of them are actually real customers and the rest are employee's or "bots" with terrible and broken english trying to get people to buy their things. A lot of the items shown on the website are from Zara, Anthropologie, and other expensive brand name clothing stores with the brand name tag blurred out. There was actually a Zara dress pictured on there and when someone had commented that, there was a response on there stating that "although it may look similar, all of their products are made from their own fabrics" aka-knock offs? Anywho..I am still waiting to feel it out and see...

  20. Hey, I've been in a collaboration with sheinside! :) Their clothes are quite good. I bought a chiffon blouse that was kind of poor quality, but it's chiffon, right? 21. A word of advice to anyone thinking of ordering from SheInside --- DON'T. JUST DON'T. Save your money, save yourself from the aggravation of knowing you've been ripped off. SheInside is only a thin line away from total scam. The concept of taking your dollars in exchange of their goods is a concept too alien for them to grasp.

I am now anxiously waiting for orders that may or may not arrive. Worse still, one of them hasn't even shipped yet even though I placed that order 3 weeks ago of today and all the items that I ordered were guaranteed "ship in 24 hours" on their website. Each time I contacted them I got reply in broken English thanking me for my understanding and patience aka just go and wait quietly. Seriously WTF???

Monica Roy, Jessy Parker, Laura Perin are names listed on their website as their 'point of contact' should customers have any further questions to address and would like to take it further than the generic Customer Service. However these "people" never reply to emails. I suspect these are "characters" or western sounding names plucked from phone book to give the company "international" image and boost international customers' confidence to order from them.

Retail therapy is supposed to be fun, it is anything BUT THAT when you shop from SheInside!

  22. (NB I've copied and pasted this from another review site that I posted this on)I have just received a very nice dress from Sheinside. Yes, the quality could be better (it has a few stringy bits hanging off it at various points of stitching) but the design and overall look is certainly worth the price. I was concerned about Sheinside having read lots of negative reviews, (and, almost as worrying, thousands of peculiarly enthusiastic, poorly spelt reviews for almost every item on their website). Personally, however, I have found their communications very efficient and the package arrived reasonably quickly, given that they are based in China. My main point of contention is that the reason for the excellent reviews is that a '5 star' rating or a posting onto a social media site such as FB or Pinterest is rewarded with discounts. So, even if something isn't great, the consumer has a chance to get money off, which is more than likely to sway the level of enthusiasm with which they describe. So, ultimately, my advice is - be prepared for a nicely designed piece of clothing that may have a few rough edges and take about 1 to 2 weeks to arrive if you like outside of China (I think the fact that some people have had items not arriving may well be due to customs duty etc rather than the company itself- but just in case it might be worth not making too much of a big order in one go) but it will be a fraction of the price of other website retailers and as long as you aren't taken in by the rave reviews it should be fine. Personally, I'm very happy with my new dress.

  24. Yeah, I'd recommend saving yourself the trouble and not ordering from them. I had a similar experience as many of the other reviewers on here and just talked to a friend who had almost the same thing happen to her:
-the order took FOREVER to get to me.
-I wasn't satisfied with the fit of the 'onesize' sweater I ordered. I'm average size and the sweater that looked long and drapey on the website looked unflattering and short on me, so...
-when I contacted them to return it, I got no response. Tried again politely and still nothing. Tried to 'live chat' with a rep on the website which was just a joke. No help or response once I posed my question. Emailed them again, (this is all over the course of like 2 weeks, so I was trying to be patient with them) letting them know that this was my 4th attempt to contact them and that their customer service was totally unacceptable and I wouldn't be ordering from them again. THEN i got a response, apologizing but saying that they don't accept returns, only exchanges, because the measurements were listed. (Even though their return policy on the site says if you're unsatisfied you can return it).

So now I'm stuck with this sweater I won't wear.
Doesn't seem like an upstanding company to me.

  25. I am a girl who wants to be stylish and cute. I want to buy a dress that can give me this feeling. I searched online stores to find the dress I love. I just saw the link on yahoo answers which I click in, to my surprise, many dresses are my favorite styles. I love this online store very much. So I bought a white round neck lace embroidery dress without hesitation. I am the one who do things without considering so much, as long as I love it, I will get it as soon I could. After waiting for days, I received it and try it on. PERFECTLY. I am so lucky to buy this dress that fits me best. Good material and stylish style all show off my beauty. I can't wait showing it to my boyfriend. I am sure that he will love the dress I bought this time. I will be back again.

It took about 3 weeks to ship from China to Sweden but I reaaaally loved everything. Everyone was super jealous of my dress and I'm in love with my jacket. I'm not sharing this site with the girls in my school hahah because I don't want everyone to walk around in the same clothes as me!

  28. I just had the WORST experience with this website.
I was looking for a pullover hoodie and one of my girlfriends recommended this site to me. I went on the website and found one that I liked. After 6 weeks my sweater had still not come in so I emailed them and got no reply. After 7 weeks I sent them another email and this time they replied. They told me that the item I had purchased was out-of-stock but that I could exchange my order for something up to 10$usd more then the sweater had been. I tried finding something else that I liked but everything was sold out. I sent them an email asking for my money back and again they replied with the whole " you can exchange your item for something that is worth up to 10$usd more then the sweater" completely avoiding the issue of giving me my money back. Its not like I wanted an exchange for an item I received. I ordered something which was SOLD OUT which meant I should have never even been able to buy it and it never should have gone through on my credit card!! And the worst part is, is that after 6 weeks I had to be the one to contact them otherwise I would probably still be waiting for my "sold out" sweater now. Its ridiculous. My friend's sweaters came in just fine and obviously my situation doesn't happen to everyone, but the customer service has just been so terrible I would recommend to not even take the risk.

The shipping time said 5- 7 days and it's been 2 weeks and I've yet to be even updated on my order status. When I emailed the customer support group, I got an email response with very bad English. Also,I attempted to write a service review on their site and it wasn't posted because it wasn't flattering.

It was, and still is 50% off and I really wanted to have that coat despite of the poor quality so I ordered it in Medium now (since it's really inexpensive). But I have a really bad feeling about the prices. How is that possible that a webshop is so cheap, and they don't even charge shipping costs?

I contacted their Live Chat and they told me I had to email a request to get the return address. Why would I have to do that when you have Live Chat? She wouldn't answer my questions and was incredibly rude. I hope they contact me so I can get a refund. Horrible customer service.

  37. STAY AWAY!!! I recently purchased the black hoodie belt waist open long coat as a gift for my sister. I selected this item after reading the description and return policy in detail. The description states the item is made of cotton which is what I was looking for. I purchased it and when my sister received the gift she was horrified. The item was clearly not made of cotton. It is polyester. A poor quality, cheap, and scratchy polyester which makes the garment impossible to wear comfortably. After looking through the packaging I noticed that there is no purchase order or identifying information provided with the shipping. With further inspection of the garment I also noticed there is not label with size, washing instructions, or fabric content. This is in violation of the Federal Trade Commission requirements of selling fabric garments within the US. I have filed a complaint with the FTC regarding their violation of the Textile and Wool Act and encourage everyone to do the same thing.

  39. I have had similar issues as many of the other commenters. I purchased a dress only to discover one week later that the dress is SOLD OUT. And you can STILL purchase the dress today on the website (says there are 996 items in stock). I have not received any response from the customer service reps and I want a full refund. I am not hopeful based on other peoples experiences. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau (this is a Chinese company with the website based in the U.S.) and found that they are not BBB accredited and have a rating of "F." There have been numerous other complaints filed to the BBB and it appears that sheinside.com has not responded to any of them (or very few). Everything in the BBB write-up seems accurate and on-par with all of the other reviews I have read here and on other websites. 40. Aww mann I should've looked them up BEFORE I ordered :( I just bought two sweaters because I found a 20% off coupon on Retail Me Not and the sweaters were pretty cute. Hoping they aren't sold out as well! And I decided to look them up after the fact when my only option to pay was through Paypal and all the sweaters and clothes I looked at were only in "one size." Also I noticed a lot of Coach knock-offs and that made me wonder a little bit, but the prices were too good to turn down and I figured that they don't even need to be great quality at the prices they were. I will certainly not purchase from them again and I hope that I receive what I purchased because Paypal is also a hassle to get money back from.

Sooooo since it was a spring jacket and the temp was officially 70 degrees in sunny Philadelphia I requested the order be canceled. They told me it there was a 30% restocking fee. WHAT in seven hells??? I fired off an email about that policy being published nowhere and the fact that they didn't hold up their end of the bargain with the estimated shipping time. They dropped it to 15%. Another email... Threatening to blast them on every forum, social media site etc. And then they fully refunded. Terrible business and likely some form of revenue scamming.

  43. Disgusted with this company. I received my items, all of which were terrible quality. I had to contact them 4 times for a return address, and they have still yet to send it to me. They have asked me to send photographic proof of the poor quality of their items, ridiculous! It's a tactile thing - the material is scratchy and flimsy - how I can capture that in a photo, I have no idea. I believe they are delaying getting me the information so that I go over the 30 day return. I will NEVER buy from them. Oh, and the one shirt i did decide to keep, I am currently wearing. It's my size, yet the material is so flimsy I just noticed that it's ripped under the arm. NEVER AGAIN.

the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so
people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text
for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

  48. ****BEWARE***** They also sell on the web by several other company names. I was going to order a top from them and decided to google the description to see if I could get a similar style elsewhere. A bunch of webistes popped up and when you go to them, they have the EXACT same website as Sheinside all they do is change the name!!! Total rip-off!!!

  51. The thing that screamed bad news to me was the fact that the shop was located in China! I've had problems with online stores from China before. Half the time they dont even have the product and go looking for it after you have ordered it. If you get the product your lucky. Most places like that wont even supply the product and instead try to run off with your money.

  56. Just an FYI Sheinside does take PayPal which would ensure a safe transaction. I ordered something recently and have not yet received it. Like another poster said, I believe it comes from China and will likely take a long time to arrive.

  57. I think my review tops everyones off. I ordered a coat, in the end got the WRONG COAT. I e-mailed them saying "Look, this isn't what I ordered." I did get a reply saying and I quote: "Or you may return it and exchange for the right item." I then e-mailed them AGAIN but to a different person saying the same thing and then asking if I need to pay the exchange fee. They said: "yes if you want to return it for exchange, you need to pay the return fee." WHY DO I NEED TO PAY FOR THE EXCHANGE FEE WHEN YOU'RE THE IDIOTS THAT GOT MY ORDER WRONG?
Never buying from them again, and if you do order from them, count your blessings and hope to God that you're one of them lucky ones because I have now just lost over $60.

  58. DO NOT ORDER from this site. I have had the worst experience dealing with them. I ordered a number 5 dresses which took about 3 weeks to arrive. When I tried on all the dressed I was terribly disappointed. The quality was poor and they were ill-fitting. One of the dresses was even see through. So I emailed them asking for the return address in order to get a refund. Instead of telling me they questioned why I didn’t want the dresses and tried to discourage me from returning them. They kept saying I could exchange them or get 30% off my next order. But the fact was that the dresses were horrible and I wanted my refund. After being passed around to 4 different people and a week worth of back and forth emails of me asking for the return address I finally got it. WOST SERVICE EVER!
I wish someone had warned me- the clothes may look cute on line but they don’t look like that in real life. Save yourself the headache and don’t order from this place.

  59. The clothes are super cute online, but their product reviews are all 5s across the board, which tipped me off. The poor English and unusual enthusiasm in them sounds exactly like the Chinese mold makers I work with in the auto industry. They are obviously fake customer reviews, and the prices speak to questionable labor practices. Follow your heart, but all of the above comments seem to reflect the gamble it is to deal with Chinese companies.

I'm currently trying to return them and after many many emails, they are still trying to get me to EXCHANGE. They are not providing me with instructions on how to refund. What a scam!!! 61. READ THIS <<<<<<
The site is based out of China yes... if you are an ebayer you will be used to the wait times. BUT SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY AND JUST SEARCH FOR THE EXACT SAME ITEM ON ALIEXPRESS (READ THE REVIEWS OF THE ITEM FIRST) IT IS HALF THE PRICE ON THERE IF NOT MORE....

  62. I bought a blouse from She Inside, and like the others, it took a month to arrive and definitely is shipping from China. The blouse was a total disappointment- the fabric is a cheap polyester (pretending to be a chiffon of some kind), and the stitching looks shoddy- lots of threads, seams aren't entirely straight, etc. It did have a label in it, though. Even the colour didn't seem exactly the same as the one I bought, and of course since it took a month for it to arrive, when I went to check the item online again to compare, it wasn't on the site anymore. I won't be buying from there again.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Wow. This sound so.. naive. Sheinside is in China, so it's kinda obvius that (also looking at the prices) that the products will be cheap looking and not from the best material. And 20 days delivery? So? Start worrying if it's been a month.
Don't expect returns. It's silly when the item cost 16 dollars.
But if you want cheap stuff, that can look good. Go for it. I have a friend who has orderd a lot of things from them and most looked good. http://cicucoco.blogspot.com/search/label/sheinside

  64. I just want to point out that if you take a look at their terms and conditions, all "negative" problems with the shipping, quality and service of the company are all clearly written out. Specifically saying that "goods cannot be returned" and that they are not responsible for "delays in transportation". All their items are cheap, if you want your item within weeks, pay for shipping.

  65. Just got my dress from them after 4 weeks and - IT HAVE THE WORST PEE-SMELL EVER! They TOTALLY have rats and stuff in their fabric! Can u imagine how it looks! The strongest smell i have ever felt, i felt bad for days

  66. I bought a dress from she-inside before even thinking about reading any of the reviews, and man I regreted doing so after I did read comments like these. Also, I tried to cancel my order through their live-chat service, and it took atleast an hour for me to get a response--which had nothing to do with my question. The customer service was terrible, and I'm just hoping my dress isn't terrible or has any stains/smells. HOWEVER, I read that in most people's reviews that they didn't get their items for about a month..and maybe it's just where I live, but I ordered my dress less than 20 days ago and my tracking order says it's already at my local post office....I'll have to update this as soon as it arrives.

    1. Just recieved it, and from opening it, it actually wasn't a bad looking dress. However, it SMELLED TERRIBLE. I'm going to have to wash it...And hopefully it won't ruin the dress. Also, I ordered a size small, and the thing is huge, so if I want to wear it I'm going to have to get it altered. The fabric honestly wasn't bad. The thread poked out of the stitching, so obviously they didn't take their time on it. It did have a pink tag, but it was in Chinese. It didn't look exactly like the picture on the website, obviously they took the pictures from a website that was selling the same dress of better quality. I'm thankful it was only a 25 dollar purchase...because I almost bought a 40 dollar one from the site...and they even have dresses that are over 100 bucks. If you're gonna purchase somehting from sheinside, DEFINITELY don't buy anything expensive, because the quality won't be worth it. God...I really hope I can get the nasty pee stench out of that dress.

  67. Now I buy a lot of clothing from china, prices ranging from $1-$30 on most.

When buying straight from china you get an exchange rate; as of if the item is 30 Yuan it is 4$ for American money. This site did not do the exchange rate, they are charging you the amount of their money in dollars; EX: 50$ in Yuan it is 50$ in dollars.

The quality of the clothes is you get what you pay for (that's why I don't mind because of the exchange rate) but this site it steep since they're not doing the exchange rate.

Most of the women shopping here have no clue about asian culture or how any of it works.

The pictures are never compared to the item. People expect American quality for something from china (it's not going to happen.)

So the site is good, I wouldn't buy since I go straight through china to buy. ^_^

  70. So I first heard of Sheinside via the app 'instagram'. I was looking for a casual prom dress (prom on the 8th july) so I thought I might as well have a look at the website sheinside.
When I went on the website I didn't originally know it was based in china (I am from the uk), everything looked legit so I went ahead and bought the ( http://www.sheinside.com/White-Sleeveless-Bandeau-Floral-Tank-Dress-p-113393-cat-1727.html ) dress. It wasn't until the morning after when I didn't receive an confirmation email and the site itself was temporarily down, I began to become suspicious. This is when I began to search the internet and found a heck of alot of bad reviews, I was certain that I wasn't going to receive my item on time as I bought the dress on the 21st of june. Thats if I was going to receive it at all, as some reviews said they didn't even get an item, and then majority of others saying it took at least a month for their items to come.
Anyway, my dress did come a week after I bought it, still no confirmation email nor working tracking number. The condition wasn't quite as good as in the photos, although I am still happy with it. Also the packaging was very nice and tidy, in a plastic wallet with a plastic zip. As I had read in reviews, no items that were received had tags attached, mine didn't either.
Overall, I am pleased (or maybe relieved) with my experience from Sheinside, but it does make me wonder whether I am just one of the lucky ones, meaning I still don't think I have enough confidence, after literally reading hundreds of negative reviews, to buy from there again.
I hope my review has gain some sort of confidence for new sheinside buyers, that there is a chance that the item will arrive reasonably quickly and okay condition.
Oh I also would like to say, I did pay for my delivery, I didn't go with the free one. So this could play a part to why mine was a reasonable experience, although I have also read many, many reviews saying even with paid delivery, their items still took on average a month.

  77. i wish i would've googled sheinside before i placed my large order. i paid for 14 items from sheinside. 2 jackets, 2 dresses & 10 tops. i received an e-mail from them on july 3 saying that all, but 2 items had been shipped. well, today i received another e-mail from sheinside saying that my order had been delivered via ups (and this is when i realized that this is the only item that had an actual tracking #) so, i go to the post office excited to get my order and all i received was 1 dress that was shipped out AFTER the original 12 items that were supposedly being sent on july 3. the dress is cute, but it's a dingy yellow and not white. it has no tags & no invoice info. i go to the website and WHOA...it has vanished! WTF!!! i wish i would've known about this company before ordering, but so many others had good experiences w/them including my sister, but now she's even pissed w/them because she hasn't received her latest purchase either. i would like to know what's going on w/them and if i'll get the rest of the items i paid for. based on my personal experience, i say, "STAY AWAY FROM SHEINSIDE" even thought they've disappeared.

  79. OMG!!!I just received my package this week of over $200 worth of items from there.I'm so glad i received before the vanishing of the website. I was pleased with all of my items. They are cute, trendy, and great prices. As far as quality...it's good for the price and comparable to those little trendy stores. I also didn't have concerns about no tags b/c i figured they are probably making these clothes for other companies who in turn will insert their own company tags on the clothing. Items were received in about 2-weeks. I also made sure that I ordered a size up on most things b/c I figured sizing would run a little small. I was so pleased, that I actually was going back to the site to see what other items i could find ;) So I think when you order you shouldn't be in a rush b/c shipping is FREE and it's coming from China AND order a size up...you can always have it altered if necessary.

  83. I ordered a dress from this website and decided on the expedited shipping option. By the way at that time the site stated that there were 86 units available AND that this item "ships in 24 hours". Great. I order and the checkout process is smooth, no problems there. I'm sent an order number with confirmation. A few days later I proceed to check my order's status since I didn't receive a shipping confirmation. Nothing's there. Just the same information that I already had: shipping and billing address, order number, shipping type and of course what I ordered, but no tracking link or additional information about the order processing.

Later when perusing the site I saw that there's a processing timeframe of about a week. I thought well I guess that's the hold up, but mind you their site says that my item would ship within 24 hours. First red flag. After 7 days still nothing so I call and get a busy signal. Red flag number two. The next day I get on the chat and ask about my order and when should I expect it. They tell me... wait for it... my dress is out of stock. Huh? The last flag. When I ordered it was plenty IN STOCK - I'd say 86 dresses when I ordered is plenty. So I had questions at that point. Why was I allowed to order? Why did it say dresses were available? If they weren't why wasn't I notified? And most importantly, why'd you take my money? None of those questions were answered. Instead I was asked if I'd like to exchange the dress I initially ordered for another. I politely declined, although in my mind I was saying, heck (I'm being nice here) no! Okay so I ask for a refund like three times because she/he keeps back peddling. Finally they say I'll receive it in five days. We'll see. If not I'll take it up with PayPal. Something is definitely amiss with this company. I will not ever order from them again. I'm not desperate or patient enough to wait a month or two for a dress.

I've emailed the company two times and even went on their website to chat with someone, but no response. I will never shop with them again.

  90. Hey guys, I was about to purchase two sweaters from SheInside, 'cause I saw a friend's picture on fb telling that her sheinside parcel arrived. They looked great at first, so I decided to check out the website.
Don't even have to say that the clothes look amazing, you could be tempted to buy.
Then I saw this fall sweater that looked gorgeous so I decided to buy it (yesterday). Now I read all these negative comments (not only here, I've checked other websites to know more about this company, and I noticed the good comments had strange nicknames, so I would think that they were written from the company's customers just to convince you to buy from them).

Thanks guys, I will never take a look to that website again, 'cause the sweater that this friend bought was very different from the actual picture in the website (It supposed to be an oversized sweater, but she had a fitting and very tight sweat, though she is a size S or XS.)

    Buy at your own risk.

  92. I have ordered items before with no problem. However, I generally only go through paypal if I do order online (and use my debit card). I made the mistake of using my Visa on Sheinside and had my information stolen (and hundreds of dollars of charges made in China).

I would not recommend this website at all! It is far more worthwhile to pay the extra $10-20 at a respected store than taking a chance on cheap rip-off clothing.

  93. 12 days ago I placed an order with Sheinside. 6 days ago I began reading reviews about whether Sheinside was a legit website. Initially all the comments I read were negative but to bring the old cliche back you certainly "get what you pay for". I bought a striped tshirt with yellow sleeves which included a 40% discount.

After reading the negative reviews I knew it was going to be a bad experience, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. I received my order today and it came in a bag with a sheinside tag slung inside - however there were no tags on the top; saying of the size or the material it was made out of. Additionally, another surprize came in the form of a stain on the back, which was covered with a sticker (which is supposed to have not made me notice?!) Hopefully, it is nothing that a bit of fairy liquid and vigorous scrubbing can't handle - although maybe not, it did look like it would be stuck forever.

As a result I am debating whether to complain or not and admit defeat. From what I have read they won't give me much co-operation and I don't think it would be worth the effort since the stain is only around a 1cm long and a thin line above one of the stripes. (hardly noticeable, but still annoying).

Therefore, I would not recommend anyone ordering from this website as they seem a bit desperate with the amount of discounts on their website to grab your money.

Also, the thread on the sleeves was loose and not expertly crafted which is expected from the amount of money paid. I wouldn't order from there again.

  98. I just ordered an orange coat that was out-of-stock on Zara's website, so I was really amazed to find the same exact coat on SheInside's site. I mean, they really didn't have much tact in convincing me otherwise, they used the same model and picture layouts as on Zara's site....I said as much on the reviews, which of course was never posted.

I trusted this site from the start without bothering to do much research when Elle Magazine's street fashion article interviewed fashionable women at random, including a lady who had purchased her adorable jacket from SheInside. Hey, where can I go wrong? The site was attractive, and the 24 hour shipping seemed too good to be true, which it was. I never received an order confirmation email from the site [very annoying, lead me to check my order status]and as it turns out,5 days later my coat stiiiill hasn't been shipped. From my experience with ordering from other China-based vendors [such as Yestyle.com] I expected faster shipping.

This order was placed using my mom's card [to gift me a fall coat for school] but now I'm actually nervous I may never receive my coat. I might have to wait a month, or suffer returning something I really want to love. I'll update when [if ever] I do receive my coat :(

That was it for me - then i saw a couple of tops i really liked! 2 out of the 3 were very cute and fit well, the third was cute but was misshapen. and like others have said - NO TAGS!

I still (rarely) get a couple of things off the site but never spend big money on there.

i think if you're looking for something cute & different and its not too expensive then sure they're ok. BUT i wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars on there.

  101. Do you guys know "focaldays.com" ? It is a online store which sells the same clothes as sheinside and it is also located in China....but it does not seem to be reiliabe at all..i asked sheininside in online chat about that store...they told me, that they know it. That is what they told me so far:

Question: Hello! Do you know the online store focalday.com , because they are selling a lot of clothes you got too....im just wondering about that store...they got a top i wanted, which is sold out here
    service001 entered chat session
    service001: hi
    service001: yes.
You: Is it a reliable online store? because the reviews are all fake and made up
service001: which online store do you refer to?
    service001: sheinside.com or focalday.com?

  102. People, use paypal to pay. Use buyitnow and you can pay later. That way no money is actually deducted from your account until the items are received. If you have issues returning, contacting or with customer service, paypal will investigate for you.

Its a fool-proof way of shopping on this site if you are afraid of getting ripped off.

  103. Not sure why people are complaining/surprised that the clothing is shipped from China. Where do they think the vast majority of clothing you buy/wear comes from? Ad yes it does take a while to ship because it's FREE. You try shipping something to China and see how much it costs if you want it there fast. No thanks. I'd rather have free shipping and wait a while then pay for it.

As for the no tags thing, they buy from wholesale distributors that sell to clothing stores all over the world and remove the tags as part of the agreement with the distributor in order to sell their excess supply to individual customers. You can find the same stuff in any no-name clothing store anywhere in the world except they will have the tags and an extra $10-15 added on.

A lot of the complaints sound like people who are new to online shopping. Unless you are buying from a site that offers free and easy returns (e.g. Asos, Amazon), then caveat emptor. My advice: don't buy it if you think you MAY return it. Anything I buy online that doesn't have free returns, I always buy knowing that I will keep it no matter what which makes me make smarter purchases.

Have ordered from sheinside about 5 times, no problems each time. The first time though, I ordered a three items and only two showed up. The other was sold out and never shipped to me. I contacted customer service via email and got a prompt response, apologizing for the situation and a $15 certificate for the site which was more than the cost of the necklace that i had ordered. So far, I've been happy with everything I've gotten and gotten compliments on quite a few of the pieces that I've purchased from the site. The one purchase I regret was a mixed material wool/PVC coat that was super popular, looked so great in the photos from various people who had purchased it but when it arrived, the wool looked cheap and used. I wore it once and got compliments on it but honestly, I don't see it. I learned my lesson and am staying away from coats and wool on the site. I stick to their chiffon and silk dresses and tops.

  104. I had a good experience with them. I ordered two shirts from their store, it took them 5 days to process the order and then it was shipped. Since I live in Spain I knew it would take from 10 to 25 days to arrive as they say in their website. I received them after two weeks and all I can say is that i love them and the packaging was great!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Update: My coat was shipped on the 6th day, and I received it in 3 weeks. The wait was worth it, although the coat isn't great quality (certainly not on par with Zara's standards)I'm still a satisfied customer.

To describe in sufficient detail, the coat was made out of a stiff canvas cotton; material used commonly for totes and cheap bags. The pockets featured a rusted....very rusted and worn zipper that felt unsuitable to even use, it was just as stiff as the canvas. Even so, I can tolerate the worn-out zippers, I'll regard it as a sort of vintage charm.

One gripe about the sizing-the coat was a medium, but it fit unusually tight around the shoulders...Still, it otherwise fits as it should.

When first receiving my package, I noticed the coat was folded and neatly packed into a zip-lock bag made out of...canvas. My coat arrived without any receipt,as well as return address. Thankfully that wasn't an issue for me.

Despite all, its a good looking coat and the price wasn't an issue at all. I used a 15% off discount, and now own an attractive and durable coat I'll be sure to wear this fall.

My experience with this company wasn't at all a bad one. If unremarkable quality isn't an issue, you won't be disappointed with what you get. You'd probably be better off sticking to cotton hoodies or other familiar fabrics just to play it safe.

  106. I live in England and my order only took one week to get here. Although I did have the same problem someone mentioned before about buying a sold out piece and receiving no notification of this. Eventually I checked my account page on the website, where it did clearly say the piece was sold out, amongst the info that my other items had been shipped. So I tried customer service, who replied (with a different western name each email, weirdly) that I could exchange it for an item up to 10USD more than the sold out piece. I was actually very happy with offer, so ordered a jacket that was 10usd more. That jacket then arrived in a week. The quality wasn't great and it obviously was a copy of the jacket advertised, but I wasn't expecting much.

Overall I've been incredibly happy with the service from Sheinside. Nowhere does it claim that the products are made by sheinside, I assumed right off that they were resellers of wholesale. I think some of the European and American customers who posted here were for some reason expecting the same experience as online shopping from their respective countries. I find it hard to believe that the whole website is a scam, having had a normal experience with the company.

I do, however, understand that their returns policy is misleading and their customer service poor. This is inexcusable but probably due to the fact that they are a Chinese company operating in very basic English. Perhaps they have been over-ambitious or were unprepared for their popularity.

As for the apparent stealing of bank account information, that scares me. Will have to do more research before I buy again.

  107. ordered a cardigan. took about a month to receive it. no tags, and the sweater had a bit of a funky smell. washed it and it was fine, love the sweater!

    pros:
    -good prices
-you can live chat with customer service on the website
    -you can track your purchase

    cons:
-most clothing on site only comes in 1 size, and it's usually pretty small. (the sweater i got was "one size fits all", and was quite large.)
    -long time to be delivered.

  108. I recently ordered my girlfriend a birthday present from Sheinside. First, I paid for express shipping (5-8 days), and when that time had passed I called to complain because my package was not here. The lady said I probably missed the delivery. I told her I had been home and she said (very rudely) "Oh, you home 24 hours a day?". I was astonished. They could not tell me where my package was. For all I know it was lost forever.

Almost a month later the package arrives. It is the wrong size, the color barely matches whats in the photo, and in general bad quality. I went to look about returning this for a different size, since when I bought it, the website said "100% guarantee for 30 days" on returns. It says buyer pays shipping cost, but I paid $8 for shipping here, and now they want $40 from me to ship it back!! It would be cheaper to just buy another blouse entirely!

The short story: I have never encountered a company with worse customer service, product quality, or timeliness. As a guy, I have no idea what girl's clothing sites are legitimate, and they tricked me good.

Do NOT buy from this company unless you have money to just throw away.

  111. Sad to say I just ordered from this website just let night - before reading these reviews! BUT I have already had a different experience from many of these negative reviews - although I have not received my merchandise haha! I ordered 2 sweaters each at different times - and within 10 minutes had email confirmations of both orders! Then when I awoke this morning I also had two seperate emails with shipping amd tracking numbers! Hopefully I wil continue with thia good luck and put the neigh sayers to rest!!!!

  112. I've ordered from this site twice. The first order was a jacket that took over a month to arrive, the second order were two blouses that took about 2 and a half weeks to arrive. The jacket was a little cheap, but the two blouses were great quality and fit very well. The tracking numbers worked for me, but I had to copy and paste it onto the USPS website to track it since their site's tracking function doesn't work.

  113. People, you are buying CHEAP clothes, what do you expect? Seriously!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Ugh I wish I had seen this sooner because the 1st of August I bought a pair of shorts. That I still haven't received. I had seen them on my favorite blogger and she looked really pretty in them. So, this of course gave me courage to buy them. And so I did. Not expensive at all and plenty of shorts left in stock when I bought them.
But to this day, the order status is still just 'paid' and the order of the shorts is, out of stock. Seriously? I have paid for these shorts and a good website would at least (!!!) send me an e-mail telling me about this and maybe giving me the option to cancel my order. But nope, not SheInside.
I just e-mailed them telling them about my problem and because of all the bad reviews I just read, I did not use the nice tone. And honestly, I don't care. Because the customer should always receive good information and so on, so fuck the nice tone. I want my shorts and if they're now out of stock and not shipping, I want my money back. I'm hoping for an answer pretty soon, or else I will contact PayPal. I will not accept this.
And I would not recommend SheInside.

  116. Advice: It will not say on your checkout list/shopping cart when something is sold out. Whenever I order things I click on each item and make sure they are not sold out. I have so far had a good experience with them, I ordered a dress and a necklace once and it took about a month for it to arrive but I didn't really mind because of the free shipping. The dress was wrinkled as hell, but nothing a little ironing couldn't fix. It fit pretty good and got a lot of compliments in school. The necklace I ordered was a lot smaller than what I had hoped for but I still liked it! Now after reading these reviews I'm a little scared to go back, but I think I'll just rack up enough points to get free stuff!

  118. I was introduced to sheinside.com by fashion bloggers on YouTube. I purchased a couple of tops from them which seemed to fit super small and it was marked one size fits all. I purchased another multi-colored cardigan/dress that is very popular on Pintrest in a size large, and it fit like it was a size small! Still, I gave it another try and I purchased two tops in August 2013. The shipping seemed to be faster than usual and I was happy...UNTIL I opened my package and my items inside the plastic sheinside zipped bags were SOAKING wet. It was like they took soaking wet clothes and packed them in a plastic bag to ship. There is no way the post office could have mysteriously dropped them in water because the outside of the package is completely dry! The clothes were wet inside THEIR packaging, not the shipping packaging. I definitely won't purchase from them again.

  121. You can get some really cute stuff from sheinside. However, I agree that it is a sketchy. You just have to decide if its worth it. Their sweaters are great but I bought a pair of pants that fits weird and the zipper broke. If you don't mind that gamble and the ridiculous time it takes for things to ship, go for it.
They also have a tendency to not ship your order for a while and then when you contact them to find out where it is, they tell you the item is out of stock and you can pick another item. It's a little crazy but, like I said, I think some items are worth it. Namely their sweaters.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Glad I found this, I definitely will not risk shopping with them. If you're looking for cute affordable stuff like those on Sheinside, try Go Jane, I love them, they usually have free shipping for orders over $50-$60, which is easy to do cause they have lots of great deals. I've ordered multiple times and never had any problems with returns.

I have to say I am super happy I took the gamble. The dress is absolutely gorgeous and the bathing suit is super cute. Both items fit perfectly and look exactly like the pictures on the site. The shipping took a few weeks since its coming from china but besides that I cant complain. I would totally buy from this site again.

  126. OKAY, first of all... Most of you are buying dresses off of this website and then proceed to complain that they don't fit.. Am I the only one that thinks that buying DRESSES online and expecting them to fit perfectly without trying them on is RETARDED?! I have ordered about 10 sweaters because they are ONE SIZE fits all. Which is a much more intelligent decision to make when buying online..something that has ONE size so that you don't really NEED to try them on. ALSO, I JUST had a conversation on their online customer service. They replied IMMEDIATELY and continued to do so until I ended the conversation.
-IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING FROM THIS WEBSITE DO NOT BELIEVE ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS.

    ReplyDelete
  127. ALSO.. You're all complaining about how long it takes to get to you.. THE WEBSITE TELLS YOU IT TAKES 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS AND THEN ANOTHER 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS TO SHIP.. UHM.. HELLO.. THAT IS ABOUT A MONTH.

  128. I had an awful experience with this website. Like others, I saw postings on pinterest and thought the clothes were cute. I went ahead and order about 5 pieces as I had been curious about admiring them for quite some time. All of the pieces were poor quality and looked cheap. I wanted to return and tried email, online chat, and messaging them with no response. The online chat was a nigh mare and the lady kept telling me to be patient and I waited for a response for 3 hours. They still didn't provide me with the return address and I have been emailing back and forth for about a week now, still do not have the address. I've decided not to return because I'm they only have a 30 day return policy and by the time the clothes are shipped back it will most likely be too late. I believe they do this on purpose. The clothes I order are ill fitting and the worst one was pictured to be a loose fitting long sleeved mesh top but when i received it it looked like it would fit a 10 year old (size med), the seems were crooked, and it looked like something you could get on the Charlotte Russe sale racks for two dollars. I paid about $25 for it (and that was with a coupon). BOTTOM LINE: worst customer service I've ever experienced and the prices are no where near justified for the poor quality of the clothes.

  129. Almost bought something also before i found these reviews. A lot of the stuff, is direct knock-offs from various luxury brands. I'd rather pay a premium to know for sure that what I'm getting is good quality or be assured that any returns/exchanges will be a painless procedure.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Ugh, their sweaters are so cute though! I won't order from them now after reading most of these responses about the quality and the wait time, though, if I didn't want sweaters by the end of the month for the fall, I may take a gamble. I'll continue to pin their stuff simply because I like the style, and maybe I'll find something similar elsewhere. Oh, well!

  131. Just making a quick note...I was checking for reviews before buying anything from thsi website ...I already had liked the page on FB (which I ticked off immediately after I read all these reviews)...
Anyway something that came into my attentio is that they are not called SHEINSIDE anymore but SHE INSIDER ...
I guess they did this in order to create confusion among customers so they do not relate one brand with the other but BEWARE it is the same web...
Moreover your comments on this log even when they are very negative, they are def not the worst for thsi brand ...ow yes, there are many more equally or more disturbing than this ones
I also realise that are many comments made by different anonymos source with similar positive feedback which makes me thing that these people work for the company and only change their names in order to defend the "reputation of "She Insider" (I found similar grammatical mistakes and same kind of writing style used in many of them including a chic called Endee Lisa and the rest of the girls if not anonymous they have asian names...hmmm sounds dodgy eh??)

  132. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for customer service for Sheinside...I ordered an item in a S size but after reading reviews for the dress, a lot said to order one size up for length. So I emailed asking to exchange the size S for a Medium and received a reply the same day saying it was no problem and when I checked my order, I could see that they actually did exchange the dress for a Medium with no extra charges or anything. And I received an email 3 days after my purchasing that said the package is now being delivered and they gave me a tracking code. Seems like very friendly and fast customer service to me...will definitely order from Sheinside again! (: Quality of clothing was quite good too.

  136. I only read these review after I ordered off their website. Surprisingly I had no issues with customer service and I placed an order on the 4th of september and just made sure I followed up with them every other day(mostly from paranoia after reading these reviews lol). You have to ASK THEM FOR A TRACKING NUMBER!. I got a DHL one and the item was shipped on the 8th and I received it on the 11th. My order was split into 2 and I received the second package on the 14th (The second item was shipped via Aramex). I think that was amazing! I ordered like 6 items and I was kinda happy with them all. Except this one 2 piece suit with rivets (the rivets are kinda coming off). But they offered to make it up to me with a 30% off coupon which I claimed yesterday :) so yeah I've had a good experience with them so far!
I think the live chat was really helpful. Like sometime you have to wait a bit longer but I just kinda nagged and asked politely to speed up my delivery and kept communicating with them. Although this time I'm not as worried. I think I'll just follow up in 3 days ! Hope this helps

  138. The fake reviews are pretty obvious. There is a pretty sweater on their website for $54 I really wanted but their customer service is too sketchy to risk it. Such a shame to be greedy and deceiving, I will not order anything out of China, Hong Kong, etc there are too many dishonest companies.

  139. I don't understand what you guys are saying about no customer service, not getting packages, no tags in clothing, etc...I received my order today in the mail (it took about 2 weeks to get here, which is VERY normal for clothing coming from China if you've ever ordered online from an asian shop before..) and my clothes were in perfect condition, better quality than I expected and no odor at all like some people complained. And all of the clothing I ordered had the brand tags in them, so I'm not sure why some people didn't have any tags? Though it is also normal for clothing from asian online shops to not have tags in the clothing. I emailed customer services a few times asking about the update of my order and to exchange some items, they emailed me back the next morning and had no problem exchanging anything I wanted in other sizes. Maybe I was just lucky? But I really love the clothes I ordered, they fit so well and are adorable! Plus you can almost always get discounts on any item you want if you google some coupon codes or follow youtubers who are able to get discount deals to share with their subscribers through Sheinside. Good luck everyone and hope this review gives you a little more confidence if you're still waiting for your package to arrive--not everyone's experience was negative!

  143. I ordered a blouse from them a few days ago. I already read that many customers are not satisfied with their customer service. However, I chose an item which is only worth 16€ and bought it for 14€ because I got some "first order" discount. So, I feel that the loss is not so great, if it's a flaw. I will give it a try. However, I was not aware, that they are selling fakes. I thought, they "somehow" get the clothes from the manufacturing places from H&M etc., as they are producing in China anyways, that would have been an explanation for me. I really wonder, how they manage, not to get sewed if they steal their ideas, reproduce their clothes and even take their pictures.....

However, at the time I ordered, I was fully aware, that there is no (cheap) possibility for returning the blouse, if it does not fit. And I really wonder why you guys are so naive. You just have to READ THEIR RETURNING POLICIES. There is NOWHERE WRITTEN THAT THEY PAY FOR YOUR RETURNS. Why would they? They already pay the shipping from China, so you can be lucky. I feel everyone who is making a drama because returns are expensive should blame himself for not reading their policies.

For the moment, I am optimistic that my blouse will arrive safely within the next weeks and that it will fit me well. I will post here again concerning the quality as soon as I receive it.

One last thing: If it is all crap, why does it look so good on her? http://www.mellowmayo.com/ She's wearing Sheinside all the time and it looks great. By the way, lot of Bloggers wear it and it looks good. So its not just a "Pinterest-Thing".

And I think that sheinside should manage to take their stuff back and refund the money. Or at least send the right item for free. That's why I ordered just one cheap thing to check it out.

  145. I ordered a coat for $72.40. I received an email stating a "receipt number" and a email and phone number from this company. When I called the phone number to "track" my package, it just so happened to be an Attorney. He told me he has been receiving calls from hundreds of young women and some young men over the past 2 years asking for their products. He also told me that those young women and men never have received their products and the very few that have are not at all pleased. The kind man I spoke to gave me his email and relayed the information we discussed over the phone, in writing. I have a filed a claim with my bank as he said I should and now I am just waiting for my money to be returned. I do not want their products or anything they have to offer. It also seemed sketchy that the number on the email happened to be an attorney's number but as long as I get my money back and change my cards...I will be happy. To play it safe, I would say DO NOT ORDER FROM SHEINSIDE! I have learned my lesson and I refuse to order from sites that seem sketchy and are not legit.

  146. I placed an order last week and it took them about a week to process because there was a vacation in china, but as soon as they were back and running, it processed very quickly.
There seem to be a lot of mixed feelings about this site, and I just want to clarify that because this site IS china-based, the clothing does about 99% of the time come from a warehouse which means that the clothing can develop strange unpleasant odors if it's been sitting around for a while- esp if the hygiene is not very good there (which is usually the case). luckily I am a Chinese speaker, so I had no issues with the customer service (in terms of communication)- in fact the representatives that I have talked to were all very polite and tried their very best to answer my questions. it's important to keep in mind that because English is their second language and they may not be able to answer some of your questions simply because of the language barrier, so it helps to be patient. customer service are people too!

Also, regarding the clothing quality, I believe that CHOIES is also using some of the same manufacturers, so it shouldn't be too shabby. I've also seen some knockoffs from blackmilk (and other brands) and I am pretty sure that these Asian sites are taking the 'unbranded' versions so they can sell it for cheaper, so the quality shouldn't be too poor (but don't quote me on this!)

I forgot to mention that some people were complaining about sizing! Asian sizes tend to run 1 to 2 sizes smaller, so order accordingly~ the one size fits all is usually an American s/m

  149. I've been buying from she inside for a good 6 months now. And I love them. Shipment takes forever because it is a Chinese base company, so normally shipping should've been $30-50, but it's free. And that also explains why sizes are small. Normally asians are petite. You should do your research before jumping to conclusion, especially when it comes to buying clothes.

  151. I bought a sweater there that I saw on a blogger's page. She was wearing it so I thought yeah, it cant be bad. It's cute.. Runs kinda small though and it took almost a month to get here to the US because it ships from China. I agree with the post that said it's like gambling and also dont expect the greatest qualitu in the world.. You get what you pay for obviously. Im happy eith my purchase though.. You just have to be careful what you choose and just do it if you absolutely love the item! Oh, and the sweater had no tags as well, it just came with a little "thank you for shopping with us" card.

  152. Hmm, I JUST ordered two very cute sweaters and now I'm very nervous!! I have complete trust in the blogger who has reviewed it time and time again but now I'm worried it's simply that she's getting better quality products because she is endorsing them and reviewing them and they know it... I will keep you all updated though! I hope I'm a "lucky one", as that seems to be what it takes here.

  153. If you want to order clothes for special ocasion - don't count for this side. Its more than shure you didn' get it. Declared delivery time 10-15 days is only a silly wish. Before things are sent , they are processing almost a week. Its over a month and I didnt get my dress that I ordered for wedding (it was last week). So I'm still waiting. Maybe I got chance to try it fo New Year Eve 2014. hahaha!!!
    Don't recomend at all!!!"

  154. I have a question. I tried calling the customer service number provided on their website, and got through to nothing. Did anyone ever actually get through? If so, how?
