Kitchen Update

We are currently in limbo. It is going to be 4-6 weeks before we get any cabinets. We have made some changes to our initial plan.

Doug quickly ruled out a gold faucet. Understandable. I tend to get carried away at times.
I put up a huge fight for carrera marble. I lost. I am okay with the alternative,  Caesarstone in Raven.
I am madly in love with this new hardware line. It has been all over blog land this week and just in time. I have had a really hard time finding decent brass hardware.

Thoughts?

  1. LOVE these pops of gold. This sounds like it's going to be my dream kitchen. The alternative for the marble looks great as well!

  2. I'm in love with this new plan. These countertops are beautiful in person and so much easier to take care of! And doing gold hardware is the perfect compromise bc it can always be switched out down the road, a sink is harder to replace! Cannot wait to see everything coming together.

  5. Really love your ideas! I am also in the process of remodeling my kitchen. I stumpled upon your blog be searching carrera marble with brass fixtures. Love the brass hardward - who is the manufacturer. I am wanting aged brass with my carrera marble and white cabinets and white Aga range. Have not seen much brass with white kitchens but I really dont want chrome - too cold! I see you are considering mixing the metals - great idea!
